BIO
Brigitte Laura, is a visual artist graduated from the National School of Fine Arts of Peru.
She captures her art on different supports such as canvas, and she specialized in the reverse-painted glass technique and digital illustration. She constantly participates in various art collective exhibitions and her illustrations are found in television cultural programs and magazines. She currently works in her art studio in Lima - Peru.
Brigitte Laura has appeared in local, national, and international art shows and has gained recognition for her artwork. Brigitte Laura's art is synonymous with expression and exploration.
Statement
“My interest in biodiversity and nature conservation adopts magic realism as an artistic language to create characters that are born from real situations. The scenes and referents are mixed with animals, plants or elements. This symbolize my vision of connecting with nature. My exploration of unconventional materials combines elements of illustration with glass painting techniques."
